why is # of views lower than yesterday for total # of views?

  My total views is not showing the accurate number- last night I was shy of 2,000 views and today it says I have 1397

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Currently, your total in Blog Stats and in your Blog Stats widget match, both 1,455. Where did you see the 2,000 number?

  on my stats page I have total as 1989!
