Why is Scobelizer Always at the top?

Someone had to ask, hes always in the homepage, I only get on the homepage when I break my top hits, or when I get close to them, this guy’s blog is nice, but I dont think its WAY better ten some other blogs in wordpress, why is HE alwas at the top. Its impossible for him to be getting over his traffic daily

Scoble is Special ;)
He gets a lot of traffic from outside wordpress.com because he used to work for Microsoft. That’s basically it.

well IDK, I work my ass off, and im still getting like 450 avg per page, and one day I REALLY worked and got 1,900hits, but IDK he is just always at the top and I want to know, its pretty hard to get on the hompage and hes always there

He’s well known. The other week I got an email newsletter from a third party thing I signed up for and Scoble was mentioned in it. I burst out laughing. Scoble is in my emails. lol But email other similiar sites as yours for a link exchange and that’s a big way fror getting traffic. Or comment on other sites. Or if you have the money, advertise. Don’t buy hits because Google can boot you off Google.

Gavilan, Robert Scoble has been one of the world’s most prominent tech bloggers since blogs were text-only. It’s only natural that he’d be a regular in the top blogs.
He is, according to Technorati, the 39th most popular blog in the world. If being a Scoble-killer is your ambition you have your work cut out for you. Just make your posts as best you can, carry on, follow Dr. Mike’s Pimp My Blog tips, and don’t take emotional ownership of anybody else’s blog stats. I am the premiere stat pimp, myself, but I recognize that Scoble’s years of work and his position in the tech world mean that he’s far more networked than I could be after only being here since February. That said, I’ve outranked him on occasion, but I would have to be out of my mind to think of this as some kind of rivalry.

well im not out to kill his blog, or like bash him, but IDK I just get disappointed when I see that I tripled my traffic and just got to #5 in the top blogs of the day, lets see, ive only had my blog since August, lets see what happens some time from now …

Sulz, no, Fark-like doesn’t mean it has sexual content. Fark.com removed their sexual content and put it on a different site because their users were having problems accessing it at work.
Fark-like just means that it’s basically a link blog, pointing to different amusing things around the Internet. Politics, tech, and mindless amusement will always score high on Technorati.
Gavilan, you also have to realize that there are almost a half-million blogs here, so to be in the top one hundred is pretty major.
