Why is 'support' unavailable?

    I’m trying to get help with moving my domain since couple months now, but the form page doesn’t work and it’s been quite frustrating. Can someone from wordpress contact me directly please?

    Hi there,

    Live chat or email support is available for users with paid plans. Since your subscriptions expired, the support link will bring you here to the forums.

    The domain kunliang.info has expired, and you will need to renew it before you’re able to transfer it away. It has entered the state called redemption, so, at this point, to recover it, an 80$ fee will be added to the renewal price. You can do it directly from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/.

    If you’re unwilling to pay the redemption fee, you can wait until the domain is released and register it again. There is no guarantee, though, that someone else won’t register the domain before you.

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I’m aware that it’s expired since a month ago, but the problem is that I tried many time to transfer my domain and it never worked until now I’m asking for help again as the problem got even worsened.

    I did take many actions before the expiry date, however none of that worked. And the help from your company was also not available.

    I never managed to obtain a transfer code, or anything related to transferring domain. may I ask why?

    I will certainly not pay for the ‘redemption fee’, as it’s quite unfair. and option two would be risky as well, as I doubt if I’d get notified when the domain gets released again.

    I need my domain to be transferred, thank you.

    I can see that a transfer code and a confirmation request to complete the transfer was sent to you, but it doesn’t look like this was acted upon.

    Did these land in any spam inboxes that may be present?

    At this present moment in time, the redemption fee and registration fee would need to be settled should you wish to use this domain.

    Hi there,

    We do not know the definitive date on which the domain will be released: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period

    It is usually released around 80 days after expiration. It looks like it has been expired for 48 days. The best bet is to redeem the domain in order to guarantee to get it back.
