Why is the data in my Excel spreadsheet not appearing as formatted?

I have been successfully incorporating Excel spreadsheets into my Past Productions page for a couple of years, but this time it is scrambling the info, ie, not recognising the blank spaces in the first column. I have always done a simple copy and paste, but am getting a totally different result.

    Hi there,

It looks like the PDF file that was uploaded to your Media Library is not formatted correctly:

Can you try recreating the PDF from the Excel file? I believe the formatting error was a result of the conversion to a PDF rather than an error that resulted when uploading the document to your Media Library. Uploading the document should not change it at all.

Sorry, that’s not the answer. I only converted the document to a PDF and uploaded it after it failed to upload in correct format as an Excel spreadsheet. The PDF format is correct. The uploaded Excel spreadsheet did not allow the blanks in the first column which should only have dates at every fifth or sixth line. This is the first time I have had any problem uploading the spreadsheet which I have done on a regular basis for the last two years.

    Hi there,

Can you try uploading the Excel spreadsheet to your Media Library one more time so I can take a look? Currently, I only see PDF uploads in your latest Media Library items. I tested this on my side with blanks every few rows and the blank cells were correctly reflected in the uploaded Excel document.
