Why is the editor option missing from appearance?

    Hi I am trying to put the code from Google analytics onto my blog. I have added my site and verified in with the Google webmaster tools. I am now trying to put my website tracking code into the editor option, which is supposed to be under Appearance, but it is not there. I have refreshed my page several times and still cannot find it. Can you please direct me how to get the editor option to appear?

    Hi there,

    We have some robust stats functions built right into WordPress.com. You can read a bit about them here:

    Jetpack Stats

    At the moment, we do not support Google Analytics though. You will not be able to use Google Analytics with your WordPress.com blogs. It is available on self-hosted WordPress.org blogs. The difference is explained a bit here:
