I installed the facebook like widget yesterday and the icon was displaying properly this morning – now the button has disappeared. Any ideas?

Hi there – I see it there now. I think there might have been a temporary issue with the Facebook like box, as we’ve gotten a couple of reports, but seems to be working now.

It was there momentarily a day ago but now it’s gone again – should I be installing the html plug-in that Facebook offers instead? -
Hi there – You can try it, but I don’t think that plugin works on WordPress.com.
I still see your like box just fine, though. I do note that you have a lot of content loading on your front page, and it does take a bit for all of your widgets to fully load for me. Is your site fully loaded when you don’t see the like box?
Can you please make a screenshot of what it looks like on your end when the like box isn’t working for you, and upload it to your Media Library so I can take a look? Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

Sorry for the delay – it seems that the facebook like widget does not display when I open the page in Safari’s latest version with cache cleared, cookies removed and history wiped even when I have let it load for more than long enough… It does display properly in Chrome though! I made a few minor changes on this widget to see if that had any effect, no change. I have uploaded a screenshot into the media library so you may see what I mean. Thanks in advance.
