Why is the link in the image widget not working?

  I’m having exactly the same problem as described in: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/image-widget-link-url-doesnt-work?replies=12. The image widget shows up fine, but the link does not work. I’m using the “Chateau” theme. Is this a theme issue?

  All of your Image Widget links seem to work just fine.

  Were you able to resolve the issue?
