Why is the Music Player widget different from the audio-support display?

  I just bought a 10GB Space Upgrade hopping I could just stick a nice clean player on the sidebar. Unfortunately, the only “music player” widget available looks terrible and nothing like the one displayed at the support page – http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/
  Is there a way of having a nice looking player?

  Hi there – the theme you are using, Vigilance, is retired, and is no longer supported, so some newer features won’t work as well with it. I suggest finding a more current them that you like just as well. Here are some suggestions for themes that are similar to what you’re using (remember that you can change the background color, header, etc.):
