Why is the offensive banner still there?
-
“WordPress.com has joined other companies such as Tumblr, Twitter, Google, and Facebook in showing our support for marriage equality.
However, as this is a polarized issue and the community support forums are not the place to hold such discussions we are closing threads related to the mastbar. “
Since it is a polarized issue, the banner shouldn’t even be there!!
Since the rainbow banner is on display where we can see it, we should have a right to be able to opt-out!
You can’t just put up a display and expect everyone to like it, and when people speak up you slap them with ” Threads are being closed as the public WordPress.com forum is not the place for these discussions”How long is this temporary excuse going to be used?
To timethief, this is not a fix https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/heres-how-to-remove-the-rainbow-banner-from-the-top-of-your-reader?replies=2
and your responses to others that are offended by the rainbow banner are not cool either. -
As mentioned in other threads, the banner is temporary. It will eventually be removed.
Threads are being closed as as the public WordPress.com forum is not the place for these discussions.
