Why is the photo only there sometimes in my Twitter feed?

    The majority of my posts show the featured image when I publish a post and it goes to Twitter. Today’s however, was a goofy post using Windows Live Journal and it posted, then I sent a draft and it removed it. I set it to post at a scheduled time while I edited it and then when it did post it did not include the featured image, but just a like to the post. What happened? Did I confuse the system somehow?
