Why is the publishing date of my posts off by one day in the new statistics?

When I post something, the date in the new stats is off by one day (the old stats page works perfectly fine). If I posted something today, but nothing yesterday, then the new stats say I didn’t post anything today. I posted something yesterday and wrote another post today, but the new stats pages says I posted yesterday’s post today, while today’s post is not included.
This is a consistent glitch that has been around since the big remodelling of the stats page.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The default timezone is UTC time. Will you confirm that your timezone is correctly set here > Settings > General please?If it isn’t then select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

My timezone setting is correct (same time as in Berlin, Germany), and as I said, the old stats page show everything just fine. That’s really weird. Thanks for the tagging.

I just checked your stats page, and everything looks ok when I look at it. For example, when I look at the stats for January 28 I see the post you published that day. I see that nothing was published on January 27, and then for January 26 I see the post you published that day.
Are you still having trouble with this? If you are, can you make a screenshot of the problem you see in your stats? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.
That will help me understand the problem better so I can investigate this for you. :)

That’s funny, now it works – I just wrote a test post and it appeared right away on the new stats page; this is a first time after weeks of trouble with it. Maybe there was a minor patch/update these days that fixed the error.

Our team has been making some changes and improvements to that stats page, so it’s entirely possible one of those changes fixed it. I’m glad it’s working for you now! :)

Honestly I have no clue why a new stats page was needed at all. I’ll still be using the old stats page for as long as possible, it’s just so much clearer and easier to find everything, but good to know the date won’t be off on the new page once the old one isn’t supported anymore (which hopefully won’t happen in a long time).
