Why is the re-blog icon no longer appearing?

  Hi there,

  I’ve just noticed that although the re-blog button has been checked under Settings>Sharing, it is not appearing on any of my posts. All other sharing buttons that I have activated are displaying correctly and I’ve double checked that they haven’t been turned off on individual posts.

  I’ve unchecked, saved and rechecked the prompt in settings but this doesn’t appear to have resolved the issue. Having glanced at some other blogs I follow, I note that their blogs are not longer displaying the icon either?

  Perhaps I am just being an idiot and just can’t see it?

  Hey Sean,

  To get your “Reblog” button to show up, can you try the following?

  1. Navigate to your Sharing settings here:

     https://seansmithsondotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharing

  2. Change “WordPress.com Likes are” to “On for all posts”
  3. Navigate to the Edit Post screen for any post you have on your site
  4. Towards the bottom of the page, toggle WordPress.com Likes “on” (check the box)
  5. Update the post

  Can you let me know if that results in your Reblog button displaying correctly?
