Why is the "Register my Domain Publicly" Box Grayed out, and Unavailable?

    Why is “Register my Domain Publicly” Grayed out? My Organization need Visibility, I neither Wish nor Need Privatizing my Domain (CO) Info, yet when Coming to my final Bill, there was NO OPTION to Delete the $8.00/Yr Extra Cost (It Smells like a Reproachably Classic “Bait & Switch” Scheme. Larishar runs on Shoestring, $8.00 extra Can and Does make a Difference. My domain Name IS Available; my CO IS Registered w/ an EIN #: It’s NOT a Joke or Vanity thing! It’s an Advocacy Organization. I spent 3 yrs researching Domain Names (It’s been ® & © as of 10/21/10. I WANT this Domain registered, and please, help me make it so, at the $18./yr Level. ($125./yr for the State; $400./yr for the Fed; $148./yr for 1 of 3 Pro Orgs I must belong to. W/o my Domain, I can’t “sound” or be perceived as Legitimate–Harder to Raise Operating funds. This is currently a One-Person Volunteer Org w/ Growth projected next 2-3 yrs (while still remaining NFP). I belong to the York County TimeBank, we could Trade Your Fee that way if you want. I have many different Skills, and am Learning still more! (Look me up, under either my name or my “lightseeker89” email address).

    Hi there,

    When you register a new domain, you’ll be given the option to add private registration. If you don’t want private registration, you can click the grey “Register Without Private Registration” button. (Even though it’s grey, you can still click the button.) We have more about that process here:
