Why is the sidebar different on my Blog (posts page) vs my static pages?
-
I’m using the TwentyEleven theme with a sidebar. Both my static pages and my Blog page (posts page) are configured to use the “Sidebar template”. All my static pages show the sidebar as I’ve configured it. However, my Blog page shows a different sidebar, and I can’t figure out how to customize it. Also pages for individual posts don’t show any sidebar. Why is this? Can my blog’s sidebar not be customized?

Blog page with different, apparently non-customizable sidebar: http://love-embodied.com/blog/
Individual post page with no sidebar: http://love-embodied.com/2013/08/13/everyone-is-different/Please advise.
Thanks,

Hi Brian,
Good news – the random unchanging sidebar on your Blogs page is due to a quirk of the widget visibility settings. If you go to Appearance->Widgets, click on your Contact Info widget in your sidebar, then click the Visibility button.
If you delete the rule saying that it only shows on your author pages, it will work as expected on the blog page.
As for the individual post pages, TwentyEleven always shows full-width content on those pages without an option to side a sidebar, sadly.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else we can do for you! Welcome to WordPress.com!
