why is the site not allowing the upload of an mp3?

  I am unable to upload an mp3 file. I have tried both options of selecting a file and dragging/dropping, but neither work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey Steven,

  In order to upload MP3 files to your WordPress.com site, you do need the space upgrade that comes with a Premium or Business plan.

  If you don’t wish to upgrade, there are definitely other ways to play audio from your site:

  Thank you for your response. Is this a recent change? I uploaded mp3’s last week without problem. Also, my account says I am only using 1.3 gig of 3 gig available. So I thought I had plenty of space remaining. Am I reading this wrong?

  I see the issue! You had a 10GB space upgrade that expired on 8/19/2014.

  If you’d like to re-add that space upgrade, you can begin to upload your MP3s again. You can do so here:
