why is the spam filter not working?

    A few weeks ago my site would get about a dozen “spam” comments. Most were spam, but legitimate comments were included. With only a dozen I could examine each to see if it was spam, or not.
    Now I have been getting 50 or more spam a day, and it’s a severe annoyance.

    Why is the famous Aksimet (spelling?) filter not working?
