Why is the Text widget displaying the code to my Instagram badge?
-
I’m trying to link my Instagram page to my blog page. I was able to enter the Instagram badge into the Text widget, but the widget is displaying not only the badge but also the the HTML coding. Is there a way to only show the Instagram badge and not the coding?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I went and took a look at your site, and most of the text which is being displayed is actually not necessary.
The part which you need is here:
a href=”http://instagram.com/livingdollshoppe?ref=badge” class=”ig-b- ig-b-v-24″ img src=”//badges.instagram.com/static/images/ig-badge-view-24.png” alt=”Instagram” / /a
(all of that would be inside angled brackets: “<” and “>”, but I can’t put them here or it would just show your button!).
It’s the very bottom bit entered in the text widget, and everything above it can be removed and the button will still display without issues!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
