Why is the update button missing preventing me from editing and updating

  wordpress willl not let me edit and update; autosave problem, revised but still does not show update button

  I’m also confused about this. Used to be able to compose a post, preview it, make sure photos were aligned, videos were functioning, etc., save a draft, come back later to revise before posting. Now it seems I have no option except to post.

  Related issue, I think: Used to be able to log in and go to my dashboard. Now I log in and if I go to my blog there’s no indication that I’m logged in (e.g., I no longer get the “edit this” option to update old posts).

  I’m sure I’m missing something!
