Why is the verification link not being sent to the email on the account?

    I set this up for my daughter and used her email as the email of record. There is supposed to be a verification link (sorry, I am NOT in any way technical so if it’s the wrong word, I’m sorry!) that is sent to her email. I did this on Sun. and she has yet to receive the email in her email. I changed the email address to mine this morning to see if maybe she was just missing something but apparently she needs to verify through her email that she intended the new email (email) to be the one on record. Now we’re back to square one and her email isn’t being sent either of those emails. Help! Thanks!

    Hi Amy,
    Have you looked in her email client’s spam folder? If she’s using Gmail, see this guide for assistance: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    If that doesn’t help, add “modlook” to the tags of this forum thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance.
