Why is the wording of a widget on my site different than in my dashboard?

  HI — I just saw that the wording of a widget on my site has suddenly changed and it is different from the wording specified and saved on my dashboard (just reviewed it and repeated the save but the site still shows something different).

  Specifically, on my site, below “You are following this blog,” it now says “You are following this blog, along with 72 other amazing people (manage). On my dashboard, there is nowhere that I have specified the “amazing people” part. I don’t care for it, and I may be wrong, but I don’t remember it being there before. Is there a way to delete it?

  In the settings for the widget at Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard, uncheck “Show total number of followers? (73 followers)”.
