Why is the WordPress App so cumbersome?

    My wordpress app for my iphone is horrible. I recently installed the update that was available for it, and It is not user friendly at all. I liked the old version so much better! Is there a way to revert to the old one, or will you be making modifications to this one? Or am I using it wrong? I liked the menu on the side where I could simply go to my reader or check stats. With this update, it is difficult to find anything.
