My photo, which has shown up before upon log in, is appearing a a box with a question mark. What is the problem?

Thank youRaincoaster. That is odd though. My “About” page had the same problem, then eventually appeared and when I clicked on “Home” the photo miraculously appeared there too. I will give the re-upload a try. Do you know what size file displays best for a photography blog but doesn’t give the general public a downloadable file? Thank you for your time.

All I know is don’t make the resolution more than 72dpi because that’s all the web displays.

That’s good to know thank you. You were right about the photo. I had deleted excess copies and must have deleted the file I had chosen for that page. Thank you!

Do you know what size file displays best
When an image is scaled down by the theme to fit into the available width, it loses some color and sharpness. The page width on Modularity is 950px when you don’t use the sidebar, so for best quality you should use an image editing application to scale down your images to 950px wide or less.
