Why is there a difference in the formatting of my blog posts and their blurbs?

    Each of my blog posts begin with italicized fonts and a link, however, when the posts are all listed under each category the short blurbs that appear do not follow the same formatting. Is there a theme or another way that preserves the formatting of the original blog post for the blurbs?
