Why is there a space?
-
Trying to get equal spacing between these links but for some reason there’s a larger space between the third and fourth and I have gone blind trying to figure out why. Any suggestions?
<p style=”text-align:center;”> Google Removes Story About Robert Daniels-Dwyer’s Conviction </p>
<p style=”text-align:center;”> Oregon Man Convicted in Indian Grave Theft and Murder-For-Hire Plot Dies in Prison</p>
<p style=”text-align:center;”>Archaeologist Spared Jail For Stealing 17th Century Relics</p>
<p style=”text-align:center;”>Stolen Artifact Returned to Historical Society</p>
<p style=”text-align:center;”> The Acquisitive Curator</p>

Is this part of a published post or page so I can have a look at it on your site? It’s hard to help without being able to see the gap you are talking about!
-
No it is not published because of this problem. I had posted the text or code but understand you can’t see it. Do I have publish it with this problem in order to get help?

You could take a screenshot of your preview and posting it here so I can take a look without having to publish it live to your site.

Did you follow the instructions in the link I posted? Saving it in Word isn’t going to help!
You should have an image file which you can either upload to your media library or use an image sharing service online.
-
-
Try following these instructions on uploading to your media library. Then you can paste the image URL here so I can take a look.

-
That’s just a screenshot of the HTML code, can you upload one of the actual post in preview mode so I can see how the code renders on the screen, then I can compare the code with the final result and see what can be done!

The only thing I can see that might be causing problems is the URL in your fourth paragraph that looks like two URLs back to back. I’m not sure how that would cause the spacing issue. Does the link work (the stolen artefact one)? Does fixing the link URL do anything?
-
-
If fixing the error in the link URL doesn’t do anything then I’m not sure what the problem is.
You could try posting the code to a brand new page (so it doens’t go out to your subscribers and isn’t linked to anywhere else on your site) and then copy the URL to that page here so I can have a look at it properly without anyone else being able to stumble upon it.

Thanks bur it was the link itself. I wasn’t working for some reason… I left it out and all is well. Thanks for taking the time to help. Sorry I am so dense about these things…
