Why is there no Add New Theme option?

  I’m brand new, and I don’t understand the terminology. Everybody answers in complicated computer speak.

  I’ve bought a .org domain through WordPress, and I’ve purchased a WordPress theme off ThemeForest. The theme is from Envato and is saved as a zip on my MacBook Pro.

  Now I have watched tutorials and I have read over the instructions on WordPress, and there is NO option to add a theme under Appearance > Themes.

  I’ve opened a ticket with the creators, but so far have no response.

  I’m a bit stressed over having paid for something I can’t use. Please help, what do I do from here?

  http://veganinindia.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com blog. You can’t add themes to a WordPress.com blog. You have been reading and watching tutorials for WordPress.ORG blogs, and you have bought a WordPress.ORG theme that you cannot use here.

  I am using http://veganinindia.org/ not http://veganinindia.wordpress.com/.

  It is the admin dashboard of veganinindia.org I am entering Appearance > Themes through.

  http://veganinindia.org is a WordPress.com blog. You can’t upload themes to WordPress.com blog from your computer.

  Please read the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
