why is there no comment option on my posts?

  Unless I’m just missing it, I can’t find where people can leave comments on my posts. I just realized that no one was commenting, and when I looked…there’s no place for it! Is it just the theme I’m using?

  I’ve checked the Discussion page on my dashboard. Nothing seems out of place there.

  Hi there,

  I checked on this for you and I see you do have the comments setting turned on under settings now, so all of your new posts will have a place to add comments.

  If you want to go back and add the comments box to your old post, you can do that manually.

  Start from your posts page linked below:

  https://outofedenministries.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php

  For each post where you want to enable comments, hover over the title, click “Quick Edit,” check the “Allow Comments” box and then click update.

  Thank you so much! Since I did not manually disable the comments, I can only assume that it happened when I switched themes. Good to know for the future. Thanks again!
