Why is this domain still parked?

  I’ve changed the DNS Nameservers and the A record for idadanceblog.com so they point to GoDaddy but the domain is listed as parked. I spoke to GoDaddy and they told me that it has to be corrected from your end. How can I get this situation corrected. If you look it up you will see that the IP records do not match. Many thanks for your consideration.

  Hi there,

  When you are working with domains, you can only change one item or the other with a company, Nameservers or the IP address. In this case, you changed the nameservers over to GoDaddy’s which made any change to the IP address not work.

  I can make sure that your domain pulls up your GoDaddy hosting for you. If you could just let me know what the IP of your shared hosting account is, I will make sure the domain gets pointed correctly. As a more long-term solution however, you may want to consider transferring your domain over to GoDaddy where you’ll be able to manage your domain more seamlessly.

  Many thanks for the prompt reply. Here is the correct IP Address: 50.63.78.1. We are in the process of transferring the domain and expect it to be complete by the beginning of next week.
