Hi Sir!
Because your css property is placed within a css query that only shows when your browser window is smaller than 479px:
@media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
h2{font-size:25px !important;}
h3{font-size:15px !important;line-height:20px !important;}.minn_share-button{
background-image: url(http://www.sociologize.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/button.jpg);
width: 100px;
height: 50px;
}For it to show in all sizes, it should be like
@media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {
h2{font-size:25px !important;}
h3{font-size:15px !important;line-height:20px !important;}}
.minn_share-button{
background-image: url(http://www.sociologize.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/button.jpg);
width: 100px;
height: 50px;
}Otherwise you’re only going to see your button when the screen is really small :)

@sociologize –
meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 4.2.1″
You’ve posted your question in the forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com.
Just to clarify, WordPress and WordPress.com are entirely separate entities. Read more here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
For the future, if you need assistance on your self-hosted site using the WordPress standalone software, you should post over at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username there, you’ll need to create one.
@gmalamud83 – Again, thank you for your assistance, but rather than answer questions about self-hosted sites here, won’t you please direct the user to the correct support forums. Thanks.

@gmalamud83-Also, in case it isn’t readily apparent that the OP (original poster) is not hosted on WordPress.com, there are two ways you can check:
1. First actually visit the OP’s site. If you see your WPcom Admin bar at the top of the page, it’s a good bet you’re looking at a site hosted on WPcom.
2. If the WPcom Admin bar isn’t visible, you can view the page source code and then look for the “generator” meta tag. If you see what I’ve posted above, the site isn’t hosted by WordPress.com.
Hope that helps.

@justjennifer This is turning annoying. Please check on “Getting Started in the Forums” (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-forums-community-standards?replies=1) where it says: “Be aware of your tone and focus. We love positive and productive discussions, so please keep comments on the topics at hand and not on other members of the community.”.
I know enough as to be able to check a website’s source code and see if it belongs to WordPress.com or WordPress.org. I was just trying to answer a simple question, even if it is offtopic or off-product, that could have easily spawned as well in a WordPress.com website (though in the premium version).
I appreciate your input, but it is not necessary for you to talk down to me. Thanks.

Well I feel stupid now… “if it was a snake, it would have bit me!”
Thanks a million @gmalamud83
