Why is this site blacklisted?

  WordPress.com should let users delete their account. http://www.accountkiller.com/en/delete-wordpress-account I agree with that site. If I would have known before I joined that I could not delete the account, I would not have joined.

  What site is “blacklisted”?

  You can delete your blog. You can erase your profile. You can delete everything you’ve ever put into your blog (which has been in existence for six days). If you don’t want the account anymore:

  1. create an anonymous email address you will never use again
  2. substitute your current email address with the new one
  3. change the account password to something ridiculously long
  4. walk away from the account.
  5. continue living your life knowing you’ll never be bothered by the account again.

  Your username / account name will never be used again. This is done to protect your privacy, and your reputation. If your username / account name were to be reused by someone people might believe it was you sending out all those curse words.

  So, account names / usernames are only used once.

  That site you’re referencing is full of crap.
