Why is twitter share button not updating the count?

  Hi, can’t find an answer on how to fix this… I am able to share my posts to twitter, no problem, the link works fine, but the share button counter always shows 0.. this problem is with all blog posts.. all the other social share buttons show the share count updating correctly, the problem is just the counter for twitter.. what to do?

  I’d like a solution to this as well. It was working fine, but now the original numbers have dropped to zero, with no changes having been made by myself.

  When I experiment I see that if I change to the official button, the share count is correct. However I’d like it to work using only the icon, as it used to.
