Why is "view mobile site" at the top of my blog instead of the normal admin bar?
-
This is new. Suddenly this afternoon, I have no more gray admin bar to use when I’m viewing my blog. The admin bar is there when I’m on someone else’s wordpress.com blog & it’s there when I’m anywhere in my admin pages (where it’s not quite as important because the sidebar is there with all the range of options I could want), but as soon as I go to my own blog, it vanishes & this totally useless “View Mobile Site” is there instead — I use my admin bar all of the time on my blog, so this is very inconvenient.
I’m running WinXP with Firefox 5.0 — and I’m most definitely not on a mobile device, so if there’s some kind of auto-detect software running on your side, it’s not working properly. I have logged out, cleared my cache & cookies, and rebooted my computer, and I still see that useless gray bar telling me to “View Mobile Site” whenever I’m logged in and viewing on my own blog.
I want to get back the functionality I had when I was viewing my own blog pages, so I hope you can help me.

Thanks very much!

Okay, feeling particularly stupid now:
I had cleared only the wordpress.com and gravatar.com cookies. Suddenly I thought: I have my own domain now! (For only a week, so perhaps some part of my stupidity may be excused?)
I went into my cookies.
Searched for “mmadfan.”
Found one lonesome mmadfan.com cookie.
It had the word “mobile” in the description.
I blushed & deleted it.
I refreshed my blog. I now have my gray admin bar back — at least I’m not troubling you any longer! :)I think the cookie was set when I clicked on one of the “clicks” in my stats to see what it meant, ’cause I hadn’t seen it before. *blush*
