Why is wordpress blocking my comments?

    I’ve suddenly discovered that wordpress won’t allow me to post comments on friends blogs that I have previously commented on, I have spoken to the friends and they tell me they have not set up any blocks and don’t understand why my comments will not post. They assume wordpress thinks they are spam. How can I continue posting?
