Why is wordpress editing my links?

  WordPress is editing my links and making them unviewable. I’ve never had this problem. It is either deleting the link altogether (in html format) or adding one to two additional ” at the end of the link, before the ‘ < ‘ and then the links don’t work.

  Yeah. I had to go in and redo the whole thing. Is there an issue composing in Word (which is WAY easier to see and read) and then transferring the text to WordPress?

  Well, it depends. Are you copying from Word and pasting your content directly into the Post Editor? If so, that could cause some formatting and link problems.

  Here’s a reference that will show you how to paste cleanly from Word into the Post Editor:

  I tested and using the paste from Word button will retain any hyperlinks you insert into Word.

  Let me know if you experience that problem again. If so, please keep the links as-is so we can take a look.
