Why is wp custum domain costly than godaddy

  http://www.godaddy.com/domains/searchresults2.aspx?ci=16811&isc=nationwr3

  its says .com avail for 10$ but .info for 0.89$ only
  can some one explain diff go directly thro wp cost 10$ + 5$ mapping i guess

  Mapping costs $10. So you get a com/net/org domain for $5 when you register it through WordPress.com.

  You can’t register .info through WordPress.com (you can use it with domain mapping, but you’ll have to register it elsewhere first).
