Why isn't an image not displaying properly

  Hi guys. I created a jpeg of my name ‘Kate’ that I display when signing off from posts. Recently I’ve noticed that the image is ‘stretched’ so that you actually can’t see the name.

  It’s been added to my media / image gallery and displays fine there.
