why isn't it letting me delete my blogs?

I’ve hit delete several times, at which point it pops up the list of options and I choose to permanently delete by blog. It gave me a message that I would need to receive a confirmation e-mail before that could be done. I never received the e-mail–that was from last night, many hours have passed. The e-mail is not in my spam folder or anything. Would you please delete my two blogs? I am really surprised that this has been so difficult.

I have checked that my account has my current e-mail address, so that isn’t the problem. Thanks for your help.
