Why isn't Mixfolio showing 12 images?

  Mixfolio gallery shows 10 images of posts, not 12, (there are 4 additional images in “older posts”.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It shows 10 because that’s the default setting (no matter what the theme). You change it in Settings > Reading.

  Thanks. Done. Now why isn’t 12 the default? It’s what the design calls for isn’t it?

  The default isn’t 12 because that dashboard option, like most options, is common to all themes. It’s set to an arbitrary round number, and you’re supposed to change it to what you prefer or what works best, depending on the theme and the content of your posts. Even on Mixfolio, it doesn’t have to be 12. (Best choice on Mixfolio is any common multiple of 2 and 3.)
