Why isn't my blog showing up in my follower's reader?
-
The last two times that I have published a blog post I have had readers tell me that my updated post never showed up in their wordpress reader. I also noticed lower than average traffic for those posts. Is there something I need to do to fix it?

You’re using more than the limit of 15 categories + tags, so your blog is hidden: http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
Once you start using less than 15, your blog will eventually re-appear.

this must have recently become an issue because I have had more tags in teh past with no issue. Shouldn’t my post appear in my follower’s reader regardless of tags since they chose to subscribe?
Also, I have learned from several subscribers that they haven’t been notified by email when a new post has been published. it is dis-concerning to establish a following and then have them not be notified in any way when new content is published. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also noticed that some of the blogs I follow have not shown up in my reader, nor have I received email notification when they post new content. -
No, we block blogs with over 15 tags from the reader, as that is a common tactic employed by spam blogs.
Email notifications are not affected by tag count. Have you checked your email’s spam folder?
