why isnt my domain name mapped to my wordpress blog?

  my domain name isnt mapped to my wordpress blog.

  the domain is mylocal416.ca

  i changed the nameserver settings and waited a day but it displays a wildcard page

  my blog is local416.wordpress.com

  i purchased the premium upgrade.
  Blog url: http://local416.wordpress.com/

  It looks like you still have to add the domain mapping upgrade to your site. You can do this by entering your custom domain into the text box next to “Add domain to blog” via your Store -> Domains page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  You won’t see any additional charges for this upgrade, since you can use your domain credit that came with your Value Bundle purchase :)

  thank you Evarlese for your response but i already tried that and it says the domain is not pointing to wordpress.com. I changed the nameservers; is there something else I should do?

  That’s all you need to do. Once the nameserver changes have propagated, you should be able to map the domain.
