Why isn't my new site live????

  I just installed a new WordPress on my server. A shared hosting account with Hostgator and the site is giving mre some silly message about the owner of the site is working on making the site awesome for me, the visitor. I’ve ben working on the site in the admin pages. Didn’t see anything about needing to do anything to launch the site.

  So how do I launch the site?????

  It sounds like you’ve installed a self-hosted WordPress site. You’ve asked this question in the WordPress.com forums which is for support for sites running on the WP.com platform.

  You didn’t mention the name of your site, but to get help with your issue, you’ll probably need to visit the WordPress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support/
