Why isn’t my new site opening?

  Hi, I just completed my new WordPress site and published it (I think). I set it to public so anybody can see it, but when I try to open it in a different browser or on my phone, I just the my header and a ‘Oops! That page can’t be found.’ message. Am I missing a step?

  You’re probably missing the step of actually publishing the page you want to display as your front page. Or perhaps you need to set the correct page as the front page at “Design” “Customize” “Homepage settings”.

  Thanks. I’ll try that. I did push the “publish page, but I might have missed those other steps.
