Why isn't my post going to the front page when I 'publish' ?
-
When I delete a post and likewise when I add a new post they used to automatically be updated on the front page straight away but they aren’t anymore.
‘trashed’ post not dissapearing from front page and new posts not going to front page.
I choose ‘Posts’ then ‘All Posts’ and find the post to trash and select ‘trash’ under it and it dissapears from the all posts list. Yet when I log out and check the site, the post is still on the front page but HAS gone from my ‘Latest News’ category.
The biggest problem is when I go to add a new post (‘posts’ , ‘add new’), after typing in all relevant info, I hit the ‘publish’ button (published for public and immediately) and log out and look at the web site, it is not on the front page but IS in the latest news category.
I have spent hours reading through the help screens (which usually does help) but can’t find out why this is happening.

Howdy,
I’m seeing today’s post “June Meeting Night – Tuesday 26th June 2012” in your front page and the Latest News category.
After you click Publish, can you make sure to let the page finish loading? (You’ll see a notification that says your post has been published with a link to the newly-published post.)
Let us know if you have any other questions. :)

Mine is doing the same thing. However, it does bring me to the posts themselves after loading. Though when I try to go to the front page to see the new posts, the new ones are never there.
