Why isn't my post immediately refreshing when I hit the "publish" button?

    I’ve written about this several times. The only place I can see this topic appearing before the last week is several years ago, and recently I’m not the only one having trouble with it. But the topics from several years ago appear to be closed without resolution, so I sort of still need help. After I write and publish a post, the panel to the left that has the famous writer quote pops up, but there is no refreshing of my post on the center and right of the screen, only blank space. The post still gets published, but it’s available under “read blog” and “view post” not in where it should first be refreshed. Is there something wrong or is this a change you meant to make to the format, or have I unintentionally disconnected something when recently I was asked to update my browser? What can I do about it? Thanks for an answer.
