why isnt my post showing

  trying to launch my blog today but when I posted my first post its not showing on the home page

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  There are a couple reasons why that post isn’t showing:

  1. In the Yumblog theme you’re using, the featured post slider won’t appear until at least two featured posts are published. If you publish a second featured post, you’ll see both posts in a featured post slider at the top of your blog.

  2. By default, any featured posts will only appear in the featured post slider, not in the regular list of posts. So the post you published won’t appear as a regular post, but it also won’t appear in the featured post slider until you publish a second featured post.

  If you’d like, you can change that default behavior, so your post appears like a regular post now. To do that, open your site’s Customizer. Then, in the “Featured Content” section, check the box next to “Display tag content in all listings.” Then, save and publish the changes to your customizer.

  That way, your first post will appear like a regular post on your blog page. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :) You can also get help directly from the theme author in the Yumblog support forum if you’d like.
