Why isn't my Reader and WP icon buttons in upper left functioning?

  My blog is two days old. I’m still working my way around but my Reader and the WP icon in the upper left don’t seem to be functioning properly. When I click on the Reader all I see is a number 0 and when I click on the WP icon nothing happens. Please help as I’d like to use all the great tools in the Reader. Thank you

  Are you referring to the icons seen here at the top of the page at WordPress.com?

  If so, the WordPress.com icon is simply a link back to WordPress.com. Since you’re already on WordPress.com when you click the icon, the page will just reload, but you won’t notice anything different.

  As for the Reader icon, you should be seeing a list of the latest posts from the blogs you subscribe to. That list can be seen here when logged in:

  Does that help to clarify the function of the buttons you mention? Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood your question!
