Why Isn't My Referrers or Authors Showing On My Websites?
-
On both of my blogs CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE and WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) the authors and referrers aren’t showing. Why? How do I get them to show? Same with clicks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Normally we don’t add authors unless there is a long term commitment to contribute to a site. Example: a news magazine site.
How many official authors have you added to your site?
Head to People in your dashboard to determine that.

The Authors Widget lets you showcase your blog’s writers in your sidebar. See this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/authors-widget/
-
I don’t know why you expect referrers to display on your site. Please see the stats support doc at Referrers https://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#referrers
If what you mean is pingbacks that you receive when someone links to one of your posts in a post of their own, then pingbacks require approval to display just as comments do. http://daisymae2017.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=moderated

I have 1 contributor and just me the administrator/owner. Now if I don’t get any views, likes or clicks will the author show?
-
If you are using an old retired theme that does not display an author name the recommendation is to switch to a newer theme that has the feature(s) you want.
Browse the free two column right hand sidebar themes here https://wordpress.com/themes/free/filter/right-sidebar
re: switching themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
Note that switching themes https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#switch-themes can be easily done, provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the site, you tohttp://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog. wp-admin/themes.php
We have a preview function. No content is lost when switching themes on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. It does not matter if the site is private or public. Use the customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

I am using a retired theme. I think it’s called Vintage Camera, Color Choice-Diana. Apparently the retired themes wait until they have views. I will look at newer themes though.
-
You are using retired themes on both of your sites. I recommend browsing newer free themes and then switching themes.
-
I was told it was OK to use these retired themes. Do I have to change themes. I will look at newer themes though.
-
Any suggestions? Keep in both sites need to be set up for both blogging and posting pictures.
-
Yes it’s okay to use outdated retired themes as long as you have used them on the site previous to their retirement. However, but the reason themes are retired is because they no longer support all WordPress.com features. That is why I do not recommend doing that but you suit yourself.
