Why isn't my website linked to my dashboard?

  Why isn’t my website linked to my dashboard?

  I am a complete novice at this so excuse my lack of knowledge this could be something simple.

  I have re paid my GoDaddy domain hosting name recently so don’t know if my problem is connected to that but I have had a portfolio website for a year now through wordpress. I don’t often use it and today I went to upload a new post but it appears my dashboard is only linked to a blog which i do not use! I’m completely confused and do not know how to re connect my website. But it is still accessible just not editable from my wordpress.

  HELP!
