Why isn't shown the image preview in sharing?

  Hello,
  when someone’s trying to share my article on facebook, it isn’t shown the image in the preview, but instead it appears a blank box.
  Thank you

  We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  Thanks for the reply, I’ve tried the facebook debug but the image was blank.
  In the end, I modified the article and I added “og:image” in the text relating to the image and it appears to work, but only for the single article. In fact, if I try to share the homepage, no image is “seen” by facebook. Mistery.
