Why isn't sub domain mapping working?
-
CNAME change is done. Why isn’t blog mapping working? Diagnostic says name servers wrong, provider says changing them would prevent the domain from pointing to thier DNS servers and, thus, our hosting account. Why isn’t this working?

Sub-domain mapping done. 5 days later still not working. Time to give my money back, don’t you think?

The CNAME records for both http://memoirwritersblog.turningmemories.com/ and http://memoirprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com/ are currently blank.
http://memoirwritersblog.turningmemories.com/ needs to be:
memoirwritersblog.turningmemories.com. IN CNAME turningmemories.wordpress.com.http://memoirprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com/ needs to be:
memoirprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com. IN CNAME earnmoneymemoirwriting.wordpress.com.http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
I recommend contacting your domain registrar to find out why the CNAME values were never saved. If they refuse to change your CNAME records, you might want to move to another registrar as that is your legal right as the domain’s owner.
Also, I can certainly process a refund for you if that’s what you’d like.

This is exactly as it appears, saved on my server. I switched over to this
memoirsprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com.86400 IN CNAME
earnmoneymemoirwriting.wordpress.com and left it as primary for 5 days. The server show the page as up but the blog never showed. After that, I put up a page to redirect to the blog but paid the $13 for the mapping on each blog. -
What you have stated above is not correct. It needs to be:
memoirwritersblog.turningmemories.com. IN CNAME turningmemories.wordpress.com.and:
memoirprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com. IN CNAME earnmoneymemoirwriting.wordpress.com.“memoirsprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com.86400” is not a valid subdomain.
The CNAME records for the two subdomains are still blank, so I recommend contacting your registrar.

I have cut and pasted the CNAMES as you show them above and my server says I cannot add them as they already exist. (The number is the TTL in the custom CNAME DNS record.)
-
That is odd, I recommend contacting your DNS provider.
This is all I get when looking for the CNAME record on both subdomains:
memoirwritersblog.turningmemories.com. IN CNAMEmemoirprofessionalsblog.turningmemories.com. IN CNAME
