Why isn't the "featured image" showing up on my blog?

    I have been having an issue uploading photos to my blog for the past few weeks…so much so that I thought I had a virus and ended up deleting my first blog (which I am still frustrated about because I’ve lost that URL domain). But after realizing that I didn’t have a virus, I began the blogging again; however I am running into the SAME PROBLEM!

    My desire is to upload a photo from my computer into a specific blog as the featured image. The uploading is successful, I have the ability to crop and set the picture as the feature image; but, when I save and preview the changes, there is no featured image.

    The featured images you add must meet the minimum size requirements. In the past, this wasn’t enforced but it is now after a bug fix because it was causing other issues. In the Pilcrow theme, the featured images you add must be at least 770 x 200 for two-column layouts or 990 x 257 for wide layouts.
